Michael Canning, Ph. D, Board Director

Dr. Canning is currently CEO/President of SiRF, a premier supplier of GPS chips and software. He has been a Silicon Valley Executive for the last 20 years. At Cirrus Logic, where he spent over 12 years, he was Executive VP Operations, pioneering the concept of “Fabless Manufacturing”, and Division President for the $300-400M Magnetic and Optical Storage Products Division. Dr. Canning has also served as President of Teledyne Semiconductor and CEO/President of Stream Machine.

Adriaan Ligtenberg, Ph. D, Board Director

Entrepreneur and investor. Formerly, CEO of SpinCircuit (acquired by Cadence). Served as Executive VP, Cadence Design Automation. Founder and Managing Director of A3 Ventures, a Silicon Valley technology incubator firm. Co-founder of C-Cube and founder of Storm Technology. Led the Image Systems Group at AT&T Bell Laboratories (1984-1989).
